Envision Teams

An Envision Team is a great place to grow in Christ as a group of you serve together.

On a team you will gain experience of gospel work in another culture, in a variety of different forms of outreach to adults, or in youth and children’s work. The goal of all Envision teams is to do gospel work together that helps the churches and missionaries that we go to serve.

Each Envision Team has experienced leaders, who will lead a daily devotional programme for the team as well as organising their daily schedule. The team needs to work together as a unit in testing circumstances, so it is vital that you are adaptable, team-minded, and up for a challenge.

Teams in 2020

We are planning two Envision teams in 2020.

Poland Envision Team - 1-8 August 2020

We are running an Envision team to Poland in early August to work alongside Andrzej and Monika Kempczyński in Legionowo, running a Holiday Bible Club and doing outreach. A full team briefing can be downloaded here.

Ireland Envision Team - 24-31 August 2020

We are running an Envision team to Ireland at the end of August to work alongside Daniel and Ellie Caballero and the Baptist churches in and around Cork. A full team briefing can be downloaded here.

Who can serve?

There are some key requirements of anyone who serves on an Envision team. You must be a baptised church member, and come with the recommendation of your church. We will also complete a DBS check on all successful applicants. You must be aged 18 or over, but Envision is not just for young people - mature Christians are welcome to apply.

What does a team achieve?

Last year we sent teams to Bordeaux in France and Rome in Italy. To read the full story of what the Envision team to Rome in 2019 achieved, see our news feature item When in Rome…
